Shpend Ahmeti announces 5 measures Pristina has taken to prevent Coronavirus

Ahmeti has indicated that the spaces of Pristina's municipality buildings will be disinfected during the weekend, and all sports workers will be equipped with masks, gloves and disinfectant.

It shows that from tomorrow schools and nests will be equipped with hygienic material.

The Pristina municipality says it will suspend public gatherings and events, where more than 50 people are expected, and reports that party meetings are suspended in the capital urbanism and investment directorate that are no longer urgent.

Mayor Ahmeti has asked not to panic, but just be careful.

Based on the IKSHP's general recommendations, the Pristina municipality continues with specific preventive measures about the COVID19 virus.

1. During the weekend, the spaces of Pristina's municipality buildings will most specifically be disinfected, where there are sports and many jobs.
2. Since tomorrow all Pristina municipality sports workers will be equipped with masks, gloves and disinfectors.
3. From tomorrow, schools and nests are supplied with additional toilet material as needed until a next decision is made on nests and schools.
4. The Pristina municipality suspends permits for public gatherings and events (promovations, square gatherings) where more than 50 people are expected. These include activities that require permission from the Community to develop activity.
5. Also reportedly party meetings are suspended in urbanism and capital investments, which are not urgently.

The municipality continues to provide all services.
