After Periscop's coverage The Office of the Secretary General of the Republic of Kosovo has reacted.
This office says that the official Turkish language translator has been absent that day, and the heard translator has been the replacement.
At the Assembly session of the Republic of Kosovo, March 9, 2020, in the absence of the official Turkish language translator (for health reasons), the 6+ Parliamentary Group, in agreement, has committed to translation from Turkish into Albanian and vice versa a group engagement. The same, in this commitment outside her contracted work, has translated with her capacity.
On the other hand, they say the video was taken out of context while demanding that the truth be investigated and dawned.
Given that a video footage from the session has become viral in online media and social networks, out of context, the Office of the Secretary-General of the Republic of Kosovo has demanded from competent bodies to conduct relevant investigations into the assessment of the actual situation.
