Russia, Turkey reach ceasefire agreement in Syria

The statement was made at a press conference by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“They have agreed on the following: to complete the hostilities along the entire line of contact in the de-progress area in Idlib, beginning on March 00.01 on March 6, 2020”, the statement said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said today he has agreed with the Turkish president for a joint document on the crisis resolution process in Syria.
He said Russia and Turkey have reached an acceptable “solution to the crisis in the Syrian province of Idlib.
Reuters said, referring to a statement issued by the two sides after the talks, that Turkey and Russia have agreed to establish a security corridor along Idlib's main road and conduct joint patrols on March 15th.
According to the joint statement read by the heads of diplomacy of the two countries, the security corridor will extend six kilometers north and six kilometers south of the M4 highway.
