Brazilian is awaiting trial on charges of entering the state of South America illegally with forged documents earlier this month.
Ronaldinho is doing everything he can to avoid boring time behind bars. After attending a small soccer tournament in this prison, he is now learning the carpenter's trade, according to ESPN.
Paraguayn volleyball player Fernando Lugo said Ronaldinho would not stop smiling when he visited him in prison.
Ronaldinho and his brother appeared before the court a week after they were arrested on charges of using false passports to enter Paraguay's capital, Asuncion.
The court has ordered them to be held in prison until the end of the trial process against them, arguing that there is a danger of them leaving the country without completing judgment against them.
According to local media, the investigation process and the trial could last up to six months.
In July 2019, Ronaldinhos was confiscated from Brazilian and Spanish passports because of not paying taxes or paying fines for illegal construction in a protected natural country in Brazil.
