Peugeot 208 Europe's car is announced

French “Luan” triumphed with 281 points from the international jury of 60 automobile journalists from 23 European countries.
The second and third positions met Tesla Model 3 with 242 points and Porsche Taycan with 222 votes.
The seven finalists were BMW 1 series, Ford Puma, Peugeot 208, Porsche Taycan, Renault Clio, Tesla Model 3 and Toyota Corolla.
Second generation Peugeot 208 is mounted on the CMP mechanical platform (Common Modullar Platform), making the weight of braking less for about 30kg on average than its predecessor.
In addition to mass savings, the new mechanical base has helped reduce noise and vibrations in direction, making travel 208 miles more enjoyable than before.
The largest innovation in motorisation of 208 is the presentation of the fully electric, labeled 208 version.
This car keeps power on batteries 50 kWh, powered by a 136 horse power engine.
The 208 Peugeot accelerates from 0 to 100 km/ hour to 8.1 seconds.
Batteries are placed under the passenger sharing floor, and the car is able to travel up to 340km in a new cycle, most objectively measuring W LTP before they are fired.
208 electricity can also be loaded on a quick charger, 100 kilowatts and then takes 30 minutes to store energy up to 80% of capacity.
Peugeot guarantees that batteries will retain 70% of initial capacity after 8 years of use or 160,000km.
