International Olympic Committee President (IOC), Thomas Bach, has today kept video conference with 50 European National Olympic Committees, with which he has discussed the current situation after the spread of the Coronavirius Devid 19.
At the conference, which lasted about 90 minutes, President Bach has asked the National Olympic Committee to encourage athletes to prepare the best under social definitions and movement circumstances, in hopes that this situation will be overcome and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will begin as planned, on July 24, 2020.
All National Olympic Committees, including KOK President Besim Hasani, unanimously supported the International Olympic Committee's instructions and principles.
The day before, The KON had also kept video conference with the presidents of the International Federation of Summer Sports, until drastic decisions were said to be made in the municipality.
