A person infected with coronavirus has been cured in Italy after using the experimental drug “Remdesiviviviri”, reports Telegraph.
“We have the first person to be cured after being treated with experimental medicine”, declared Matteo Basetti, spokesperson for the infectious clinic at San Martino Hospital in Genoa, Italy.
The recovery of 79-year-olds had begun on 7 March, while during two recent tests on coronavirus has resulted negative.
The patient will soon be back in Lombardi has announced Basetti, adding that all doctors are satisfied as this drug has proved effective.
He also acknowledged that there are other patients who are dealing with this kind of medicine, on the other hand, the Italian Health Ministry has approved animal testing with the first anti-coronavirus vaccine.
