Engineers from the Mercedes company team under the Forum 1 race in collaboration with London University professors have managed to produce a new breathing device for only four days. The device will be clinically tested in London.
The device inserts air into a mask to supply the patient's lungs with oxygen and provides alternative for people who are too weak to undergo traditional ventilation procedures.
Its use has been described as safe by a security surveillance organization and now the device must be tested clinically to be approved for use, writes “Daily Mail”, Report Express broadcast.
Mercedes engineers modified a device that had previously been used for another disorder. They believe that they can produce a thousand of these devices a day if other Formulation teams contribute to this project. Thus, ordinary respirators will be used only in the most severe cases because the new device is not powerful enough to keep the situation stable for people with problems highlighted with immunity or respiratory organs.
