Medical records near coronary patients, distance home

Doctors there say that after work hours, they return home to their family. Some keep their social distance according to the World Health Organization's rules even at home. But some who have young children continue their parental care at home.

One of them has infected Valbon Krasniqi, who, speaking of Radio Free Europe, said this situation is not known how long it will last, so from the long work he does at the QKUK Infectious Clinic, he comes home.

At home, however, he claims to have identified himself and has no direct contact with family members.

I am the father of three children. My oldest mother, I've moved her to the village because the elderly are the most endangered by the Coronobrus. In the clinic, I am protected with clothes, special clothing, and then even at home, I am careful with hygiene and distance. I hope we can get through this situation as soon as possible.

Gezim Morina is also an infectious doctor. For Radio Europe and Lire, he has shared his experience of self-isolation after having had contact with his family who had come from Italy and later have proved positive with coronary.

Infectian Morina is the father of three children whose age is 13, nine and three years old.

I went to visit my family after coming from Italy. But during the visit I was wearing mask and gloves. Even so, I've just realized that they've been positive with coronarys, I've been identified for two weeks and I haven't had contact with my wife or children. I haven't stayed in the same settlement. I haven't even gone to the Infectious Clinic for two weeks in a row”.

He says he's done two tests and after both tests have turned negative with coronarys started working and joining the family.

Health professionals say that there are conditions in the Infectious Clinic for the staff who have contact with coronary contact to isolate themselves and not go home after work hours.

However, after working hours, none of the personnel have been isolated there.

One of the infected people who refused to speak by name, who is at the same time a mother, said that although every day she works at this clinic and that she has dozens of coronaryly affected people who have to go home because she has only two years of age.

I can't do this by myself because I have a very small baby. I'm trying to be very careful here at the clinic and protect myself according to WHO guidelines. I'm in the middle of two fires, helping patients that I'm already doing this, but I also offer attention to my child”.

Infectologists within the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo say that even in the past they have faced epidemics, such as swine flu, bleeding and similar fever, and that they are informed of how they should be protected.

So far, no infectious doctor, but no nurses have been affected by coronarys within the Infectious Clinic at QKUK.
