Kurti's Chief of Staff says the tax will be completely lifted, only after Serbia's campaign for recognition stops

Prime Minister Albin Kurti's Chief of Staff, Luan Dalipi, through a series of tweets on Twitter, has said the tax on Serbian goods will be lifted, but always on the condition Serbia stops with its campaign for Kosovo recognition. According to Dalip, once Serbia stops this campaign, and removes non-tariff barriers, a solid basis will be established for a prosperous dialogue and for mutual relations with Serbia.
Our strategic alliance with the US and the democratic world is of critical importance and the Government of Kosovo will do its best to preserve and advance our reports. We are very grateful to our international partners for their continued support, including Ambassador Richard Green for his dedication and for the active role in implementing mutual Kosovo-Serbia recognition that will bring lasting peace and prosperity to both countries. We will completely remove it once Serbia bans its campaign of recognition, as well as removes its non-tariff barriers. This will create a solid basis for a prosperous dialogue and mutual relations with Serbia”, Dalipi said.
The Kosovo government, according to him, represents the legitimacy of its citizens and politics. Abrashi has also clarified Kosovo's constitutional system and the legal practice of the Constitutional Court, which says he confirms each actor's role in foreign policy, while adding that in Kosovo's parliamentary system, the president serves the foreign policy appointed by the Government.
Furthermore, Dalipi has said unconstitutional actions in the process of negotiating with Serbia will harm and undermine the hard work and efforts of international partners, in particular the US, EU and Great Britain.
Nobody should distract our friends in the international community. The uncoordinated and constitutionally mandated actions not only produce negative consequences, but also extinguishable and unmet agreements resulting in damage to Kosovo's international position and interests”, Dalipi has said.
