Latif Demolli, spokesperson for the Kosovo Boxing Federation and responsible for the Kosovo National Team, has delivered a message to all citizens of Kosovo.
Below:
On my personal name and on behalf of the national boxing team of Kosovo, we thank family members, extended relatives, friends, sports workers, federation heads, federation secretaries, boxing clubs heads, judges, boxers, journalists, etc., and so on.
Special thanks goes to the president of KOK. Besim Hasani, who, in co-operation with the Government of Kosovo and with Behxhet Pacol, nasol in Kosovo, and after settling in Karantine for two weeks, has committed us, as a boxing delegation, to leave the student Convikt and settle in four different countries in the environment where we would be able to hold exercises.
According to Mr. Hasan, for this idea, has had the full support of Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports, Mrs. Vlora Dumiti.
And thank you, Mr. Sports Federation President. Ismet Rexhepi, who has offered his 400m2 facility for our team, suitable sleeping space and exercise.
A thank you goes to Mr. Football Federation chairman. Agim Ademi, chairman of the Federation of Beatdown. Naim Muja, who are willing to help us in any way necessary.
Now, we want to inform you that starting with the high odds of being postponed by the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which would also affect the delay of the qualifying competitions for Olympic Games, our team has decided to stay at the Student Convikt for the next six days, which will help fulfill our stay in Karantine for 14 days.
We look forward to getting back safely into our families and finding them safe.
As sportsmen, it's our duty to continue with exercises to maintain our form and be on top for the next qualifying stage and for the Olympic Games themselves, whenever they are held.
We also inform all sports lovers and citizens of Kosovo that we boxers have adapted to these circumstances and are looking after the preservation of our health.
Conditions have improved from day to day, and if there were, say, in the basement a exercise hall, we as athletes would not look for better conditions.
Our demands have increased the care of medical workers who sportsmen, but also for other residents in dormitories, are being driven in front of the food door, and social distance is being maintained in this form. Each of us is looking after the purity of our rooms.
We've got a bagel and towels, we have disinfectant tools that brought medical personnel to the national team, what we thank for the student centre's management, medical personnel and all the others for the contribution.
Covin Pandemia 19, with what is being seen through TV and portals, is emerging to be humanity's most dangerous enemy. However, I am believing and hoping to unite (liders and people) we will succeed in defeating this invisible enemy as we have managed to defeat, over the centuries, dozens of enemies.
The primary weapon against this virus is to abide by the rules from O. BESH and the competent organs of the state of Kosovo, where it says “, hold back N Shui”. And I'm adding: “Don't come out and take me inside the”.
