Konjufca herself has shown that at that meeting she was severely crashed with Serbia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, since the latter has expressed disappointment that Kosovo has appeared without introduction in the joint communiqué.
Konjufca has even shown the words Dachicqi is addressing, indicating he has asked him to stop such an approach to Kosovo.
You're trying to deny our existence. From this negative energy, Mr. Dutch. This is not an integral European language. You must give up this commitment against Kosovo!”, Konjufca has said.
Gent Cakaj, minister of Albanian Foreign Affairs, has also attended the meeting.
Konjufca's full announcement:
Yesterday I attended the Foreign Ministers' Meeting under the Berlin Process, concretely in the first panel “Legal State, Migration, Security / Hibride”, which is held in Skopje.
At the Plenar session, which took place in the afternoon, the opening word has been kept by the Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia. Oliver Spasovski.
During the debate, I have welcomed the organiser and declared that Kosovo has met all criteria for visa liberalisation, which has also been outlined by the European Commission in 2018. I have even added further that Kosovo is not against dialogue with Serbia, but it should result in normalisation and mutual recognition between the two countries.
During the debate, I had a severe exchange of views with Serbian Minister Dacic.
The Serbian minister has shown disappointment, which in the Joint Communications has not been put in line for Kosovo, has complained that Kosovo's new government is not respecting the agreements signed by him and Mr. Thaci in Brussels and has invited Kosovo Government to lift the 100% tax.
I have told him that the banners are not set at any Berlin Process meeting. Then, I have informed those present that the Government of Serbia and Ivica Dacic have misused dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia,ly presenting it, not as a dialogue for normalising relations between the two countries, but as a dialogue on Kosovo's status.
I even told you, Mr. President. Dacic with these words: “You are trying to deny our existence. From this negative energy, Mr. Dutch. This is not an integral European language. You must give up this commitment against Kosovo! ”
The acting minister of the Republic of Albania participated in the debate. Gent Cakaj, who has accused Serbia's government of using illegal forms in its campaign against Kosovo.
