KOK holds forum for leading girls in sports, Doshumi promises her support

The Kosovo Olympic Committee has organised the first forum for leading girls in sports, which was held under the International Women's Day holiday festival, where Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Vlora Dymoshi promised he would support sports in particular, as they have shown success.

Minister Dumosh said she's very happy to see people contribute to the sports field, especially women.

She said that even though Kosovo is facing youth departure, it can be worked on building better policies and that youth and sports in Kosovo are the pride of the nation, especially women who have brought gold medals such as Majlinda Kelmendi.

Of course, the greatest turnout should be seen as women, so girls. All the information we have, we know we're facing a great escape from young people and they don't see the perspective here. We can work very well together by building good policies, only in sports, in youth, and sports in Kosovo made us proud every day with their work, and we are now part of many international organisations where Kosovo participates. But the most beautiful of all is that our women were participants and they came to us with medals, as is Majlinda.
