The 31-year-old Daguestan was training in the US for the match, which was scheduled to take place at the Brooklyn Barclays Centre on 18 April.
Now he has left his regular training base in San Jose, California at the American Academy of Kickboxes in Russia due to the coronary pandemic, according to fighter manager Rizvan Magomedov.
Despite Khahabb's challenge with the planned Ferguson to continue, it seems unlikely that it will be held in the original country due to the global war against the Devov-19 virus.
Khabbi also, as is the current law in Russia, must now undergo 14-day mandatory isolation after returning from abroad, forcing it to be trained alone.
