It has long been talked about cutting the salaries of football players during the time they are out of activity, while numerous European clubs have dismissed all football players to avoid major losses, but Juventos have managed to reach an agreement with players.
As the White Club reports in an official post, agreement has been reached with footballers and the first team's technical staff to cut off the wages of March, April, May and June 2020.
Juventu's own club reports that in the coming days there will also be necessary legal procedures on the matter, while acknowledging that this move would save the club's crates a total of 90m euros.
Of course, this is a savings that would give breath to the white club's crates, but it's worth noting that the deal with the players is envisioned, that if the season resumes in May or June, then the salaries of the months when they return to normal activity, they will receive according to the contract.
So if the Italian championship were to start in May, Juventus would only save half of the above-mentioned figure, or 45m euros, that would contribute a little bit to the reduction in the losses of this season, which are expected to be significant.
