In an interview for Voice of America, he has said he is being discussed for the upcoming elections in Serbia to be held April 26th.
Jeremic has said Serbia's current leaders have agreed that Kosovo will be admitted to the UN and that this US administration has high expectations for dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade to end after the elections.
“I don't believe that they have high hopes for agreement before Serbia's elections, but definitely hope is that after elections something will be done. Since a US senior official, Richard Green, has decided to remain involved in dialogue, my expectations are for a Pristina-Belgrade agreement to be reached in November. When I spoke to people in Washington, no one denied this thing”, he said.
The “is in my knowledge that there will be an agreement for normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, which will contain Kosovo's admission to the UN, he adds.
He has also said that the West has agreed with the fact that Serbia will never be a fully democratic state.
