In these difficult moments for all, Italian entrepreneur Giovanni Rana has particularly appreciated what he views as the sacrifice of his employees to work even during the days when the pandemic reached its peak, marking thousands of deaths in Italy.
Rana, the producer of fresh pasta, came up with an extraordinary plan to raise salaries total to 2m euros in gratitude for 700 employees who have continued working in 5 factories across the country, and reportedly -- are guaranteeing the continuation of the food supply during the January 19.
In practical terms, each employee's salary will increase by 25%, and they will have a 400-euro bonus for baby sitter expenses. The plan, covering the period starting on March 9th, will cover and month April. It has also been decided to activate a security policy for subordinates in the event of coronary infection, as well as strengthening security measures at the workplace.
