Haradinaj, has called the current government at the helm with Albin Kurti, failed and even reported to the US.
At the time of the Deception Government, Kosovo again failed to report to the United States. Now investor Contour Global withdraws from investment in energy. New Kosovo has been the biggest direct project and investment in Kosovo, with 1.3 billion euros! This project is based on one of our country's main assets, the fifth coal reserves in the world, and would solve the problem with stable energy supply in Kosovo. Furthermore, this project would open 20,000 jobs and make Kosovo energy leaders. Businesses claim that annual losses, due to unstable energy, are over 300 million Euros! The planned technology would reduce environmental pollution, with the replacement of the old thermal power plant 10 times. The government must find urgent solutions after this failure. Any solution that does not provide supply security and reduce dependence on imported energy will be more expensive than New Kosovo. The failure of New Kosovo's construction sends negative messages to American and wide investors”, Haradinaj wrote.
The contract with Contour Global was signed in 2017.
