Government spokesman reasons USKUK board dismissal

The incumbent government on Friday has dismissed the Kosovo University Clinical Service Steering Board ( Sa SHOW).
Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu has said the Board has been dismissed for failing to fulfill its duties and responsibilities.
Also, according to him, neither specific targets have been met, even violations of the Public Finance Management Law, as well as regulations on public money spending.
The incumbent government of the Republic of Kosovo at the same meeting has made another decision that envisions the dismissal of the USKUK Steering Board. New names, new members of this board have also been named in the same decision. Reasoning this decision is given in the decision of Kosovo's acting government, which the rationale is based on the fact that the board has not fulfilled its prior and pre-responsive tasks and responsibilities defined in the SKKKUK statute and has not achieved its pre-priced goals”.
The “has at the same time had a poor management at expense, not considering the needs and priorities of the Kosovo Clinical and University Service. And based on the findings of the Interior Auditor's office and also of the national audience, we have found that this board has violated the Public Finance Management Law as well as the regulation on the expenses of Public Money”.
For VV member Mirsad Shkreta, who was appointed part of this board, Kryeziu said there is no comment.
“I have no answer”, he said briefly.
The government has named the New Board in its composition: Dr. Agreta Geca-Gashi, Kosovo University Clinical Centre; Dr. Aida Rexhepi, Kosovo University Clinical Centre; Dr. Jevat Jakup, National Institute of Public Health; Dr. Diana Dafota, General Hospital Gjakova; Dr. Sadete Hadri, Primary Health Care Services; Dr. Mirsad Shkreta, the Ministry of Health and a health management expert, selected under the public competition.
The chairman of the SSKKU Steering Board has been appointed Jevat Jakupi by the National Public Health Institute, with a mandate of 1 year.
