The government between pandemic and its political destiny

Following the signatures collected, the Democratic League of Kosovo has handed over the no-confidence motion for the government's collapse, part of which it was part, to the Kosovo Parliament. The constitution confirms that the motion is put in motion day in the Assembly no later than five days or less than two days from the pre-emptive date. Meanwhile, [...]
Neither has the emergency situation in Kosovo's health sector, the cause of the spread of Covid19, held together the ruling coalition partners, Vetevendosje and the Democratic League of Kosovo.
The division between them began when the LDK required the immediate removal of the 100% fee, and was stressed when Prime Minister Albin Kurti fired Interior Minister Agim Veliun's LDK post.
Isa Mustafa, when he announced that he would freeze the distrust motion for the collapse of the government Kurti, said he could not rule with someone who risks undermining the partnership with the United States and dismissing the ministers of LDK.
And the chief executive said that in the government he heads, there can be no ministers supporting others outside the government, as they go against the government in which they are part, since Agim Veliu had been declared to support the announcement of the state of emergency due to the Coronavirus.
While the idea of declaring the state of emergency had come from the country's president, Hashim Thaci, and rejected by Prime Minister Kurti.
All these developments on the political scene are taking place at a time when Kosovo, like the whole world, is facing the war against Covid19, until all cultural and sports activities are closed.
Albert Krasniqi from Democracy Plus tells of Kosova Prees, that both parties have had to be responsible to citizens, not creating political crisis at the time of pandemic.
The parties have had to be more responsible towards citizens in the first place, to put aside the political differences they have, and the provocations that were made with Mr. Veliu's dismissal, but also the obligation to remove taxes at this time when all countries are focused on their internal problems, the process of dialogue is not that it is currently happening, this issue has been able to wait until the crisis is exceeded, and then the parties can listen and decide if they want to continue on. But in this way we are showing uncertainty to citizens and establishing panic because a government that would have to be 24 hours of service to citizens in combating this pandemic, now its energies focused on its political destiny”, Krasniqi says.
According to him, a government that lacks mutual trust and respect is hard to function with and meet its pre-conception plan.
The motion of distrust at the time when in Kosovo it is marking cases infected with coronarys, Krasniqi finds the country at a difficult time.
Taking into account the situation with the handover of the motion to the Parliament now, Krasniqi says this institution should find an adequate environment to hold the session by not risking people's lives there.
I believe that the Assembly would have to see a suitable environment for not endangering the health of MPs. A space the government has with its labour regulations to hold the collection with corruption even without the need for ministers to be there, the Kosovo Assembly does not have such a pre-principled” regulation, he says.
However, he says the session can be held outside the Parliament headquarters in a suitable space.
He cites other countries in the world where parliament meetings are failing, since MPs are not risking their lives.
The motion of no-confidence initiated by the LDK, which has also received support from opposition parties, has surrendered yesterday to the Kosovo Assembly.
According to the Constitution, he must be put to the polls during the coming week.
Meanwhile, there have been currently in Kosovo 24 cases that have been infected with the frame19.
As a safeguard clause, the government has closed land borders, schools, establishments and parks, while citizens have been instructed to keep up to two metres apart..
