Government cancels decision to establish Montenegrin Economic Zone

The decision required by the Kosovo Privatisation Agency to suspend all actions regarding the real estate under management indefinitely has been adopted. This decision is said to be the argument that the 2020-23 Government Programme envisions policies that could change the current status of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency and change long-term management of public and social property.
Kosovo's government has approved the decision to annul the Government's decisions on establishing the Economic Zone in Malisheva and decisions on expropriating real estate affected by the establishment of this area in the cadastral areas of Banja, Bellanica and Senik of Malisheva. Reasoning the decision states that these decisions are contrary to the Law.
The document's concept of justice reform in commercial justice has been reviewed and adopted at the meeting. The document's concept has analysed and identified the overall approach of the business community, and the length of treatment of administrative subjects related to economic issues, resulting from lack of current capacities.
Following the analysis of the Law Rule Sector Functional Review Process and the identification of problems in implementing current laws, the document has recommended changing the legal framework through drafting the new Law on the Commercial Court.
The cabinet has reviewed and adopted the concept the Document for Kosovo's Central Criminal Evidence, which states that Kosovo is one of the rare countries that the competencies of maintaining its criminal evidence have enabled the judicial administration. The document's concept recommends that the Law for the Central Criminal Evidence System be drafted, which would define the Ministry of Justice as a competent body for managing this system.
The government also approved the annual Financial Report for 2019. The report states that total revenues for 2019 were at 2 billion and 222 million and 920 thousand euros, while payments totaled 2 billion and 152 million and 546 thousand euros.
