Germany made the decision as part of an effort to ensure that the COVID-19 virus does not result in business collapses and job losses.
“There is no ceiling on the loan that [the state development boat] can last,” said Finance Minister Olaf Scholz, according to the Financial Times.

Small and large businesses will be offered loans, along with the possibility of delaying taxes to billions of euros.
