German Ambassador to Kosovo Christian Held has welcomed Miroslav Lajcak's appointment by the EU, for Kosovo dialogue Serbia, writing that he will lead a structured and essential dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
Through a Twitter post, Held says the EU's special nominated for Kosovo dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, will lead to a comprehensive solution for both states.
“Germany welcomes the appointment of Miroslav Lajcak, who on behalf of the European Union will lead a structured and essential dialogue, leading to comprehensive and legally binding solution. As EU representative, he will act and talk about Germany and all member states. Remember Germany is also the European Union and the EU is Germany”, Held wrote on Twitter, while distributing the European Union's top representative for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell.
“Mioslav Lajcak is a highly respected politician and a diplomat with experience who enjoys full trust from the EU”, Borell wrote on Twitter.
