Former eurodeput Doris Pack calls for reconciliation between Kosovo and Serbia

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), on the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Women's Forum, has honoured with gratitude former German Eurodeput Doris Pack for her contribution to the Kosovo issue. Pack has called for peace and reconciliation in the region. While the LDK chairman has said that on this anniversary for the first time Kosovo has a woman speaker of the Parliament and coming from this party, Online Economy reports.

Pack has expressed satisfaction that so many women are now part of politics, even high levels, such as Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani.

On this occasion, LDK chairman Isa Mustafa shared gratitude for Doris Pack.

I was here for the first time in 1991. I had met Mr. Ibrahim Rugova, Adem Demache. But then there were many women. In October, I was in support of Mrs. Osmani, and in one afternoon over 1,000 and 500 women gathered. This is impossible for us, but it shows that you have the desire just as we go ahead of”, Pack said, congratulating LDK women for the 30th anniversary.

Pack called for more peace and to put aside differences and have much peace in the region.

“I see the women and men of LDK are wanting to see Kosovo ahead. Many politicians in Serbia have not told citizens what they have done in Kosovo, but, they want to leave people here. Why it wouldn't be nice to leave all this aside here in Kosovo and live happily ever after

While LDK chairman Isa Mustafa gave thanks to Lady Doris Pac for her over 30-year contribution to Kosovo.

Mustafa said that on the 30th anniversary of the Women's Forum for the first time, we have a woman speaker of the Parliament and coming from this party.

“I want to congratulate you on the 30th anniversary of the Women's Forum, we also have the head of the Parliament where for the first time we have the chief woman in Kosovo, congratulations on success to go before”, she said.
