In these difficult moments, Clopp chooses to write letters to fans

Liverpool's coach, Jurgen Klop, has written a letter to his team fans following the difficult situation created by the spread of Coronavirus.

Germany points out, among other things, that it does not believe a coach's opinion is important right now, but realizes that fans want to hear from the team.

I don't think this is where the thoughts of a football coach should be important, but I understand that our fans want to know from the team so I'm going to make it happen. For one thing, we all have to do everything we can to protect each other, I mean human society. This should always prevail in life, but right now this is worth more. I've said before that football always seems the most important thing. Today, football and games are of no consequence. Of course we don't want to play an empty stadium and we don't want to suspend fights or competitions, but if that helps even a single individual then we accept without questioning.
If there is a choice between football and the well - being of a larger society, there certainly is no conflict.
Today's decision and announcement are being applied to people's safety, and for that we fully support them. We have seen members of the teams face disease. The virus has shown that being part of football is not immune. Our thoughts and prayers go to rival teams and football players who have been touched or may be affected in the future. Nobody at this point knows the outcome, but as a team we have to believe that authorities will make decisions based on prejudice and morality. Yeah, I'm the coach of this team and that's why I have a leader's responsibility about our future in the field. But I think that the current moment that many people are going through in our town, in our region, in our country or in the world, it would be totally wrong to talk about other things other than to advise people to follow expert guidelines and take care of themselves and others. The team has only one message for supporters, so it wishes them health. Put your health first. Don't take risks. Think of the vulnerable people of society, and act in a compassionate manner.
