Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier is involved in a confrontation with a fan after his club was defeated following the execution of penalty by Norwich Citizen in England's fifth round of FA Cup on Wednesday evening.

England's Repretant, who marked his penalization, seemed disappointed with something and went after the contest in the tribuna.

Dier was seen fighting a Tottenham fan before he was stopped by security and other fans. He then left the tribunes.

Dier's brother is believed to be in that seat sector where the incident occurred and Dier could be heard saying “ai is my brother”.

Tottenham coach Jose Morainho, although he has shown sympathy to Dier, has said that the move was wrong.

I think Eric did what we professionals don't have the right to do, but that each of us would. When someone offends you and your family is involved, especially your younger brother, then it is normal that you cannot hold back. This man insulted Eric, Eric's brother was unhappy about the situation, and so was Eric. But we're professionals and we can't do this. But, I repeat, maybe all of us would. I'm with the player and I understand the player”, Mourinho said after the match, Reuters agency, broadcast Koha.net.

It's not the first time a player has run into fans of his club. Granit Jaka of Arsenal lost the captain's tape after expressing outrage and addressing the club's fans, when he whistled after his replacement in the match against Crystal Palace.

But Dier's actions are more serious and can lead to disciplinary action.
