Fruits and vegetables have suffered price fluctuations in the capital in recent days. After confirming the country's first Corleone cases, many are citizens who have flocked to fruit-purchasing markets, where a added demand has been mainly for vitamin C products.
High demand has caused merchants to pay their price, according to which the biggest fluctuation has suffered from agrums, especially lemons.
Despite their dearness, however, citizens have not stopped shopping for these basket articles.
The biggest abuses of prices, mainly for oranges and lemons, seem to be being done by neighborhood stores that have sold the latter for 250 dollars. Most of the merchants, however, have stopped their jobs because of Friday's traffic restriction. /A2/
