Coronavirus risks two more of the friendly challenges of March, which will hold the Albanian national against San Marinos and Slovenia respectively, which are on programme to play on Italian territory.

The Italian government's recent decision on closed-door sports activities by the end of this month or their final postponement due to the emergency situation by Coronavirus has also put the Albanian Football Federation on alert.

The FSHF plan is for the Albanian representative to play in San Marino towards the locals on March 27th and then on March 30th, to move to Udine to play there against Slovenia the second match scheduled for the FIFA free date.

But the Italian government is making a decree after consulting a panel of scientific experts, through which it could order the complete ban on all sporting activities on the country's territory, or their development without fan presence, as a very important measure to prevent the spread of the virus.

Even if the suspension will be located in different parts of Italy, both matches are scheduled to take place in the province where there have been cases of infection, as well as deaths, and which could be included.

So the normal development of two March friendlys has been seriously endangered and the FSHF remains pending the Italian government's decision before deciding in co-operation with the other two federations what will be done with the challenges in question and whether other countries, including Albania, can develop or, in the most extreme case, cancel.
