The number of people affected by Coronavirus in Albania has gone to 42. Within the last 24 hours, there have been four new cases.
Deputy Health Minister Mira Rakacolli through a media conference announced that a total of 24 people suspected, citizens and health personnel were tested.
“over the past 24 hours has continued to work on the ground without stopping. 27 suspected citizens and personal persons have been tested, from which four new cases have been confirmed. They have been tested in all 532 cases and are positive only 42 cases”, Rakacolli said.
She also announced that 17 people are laid down at the Infective Hospital. They are patients from Tirana, Durres, Fieri, Lushnja and Rrogozhina. Three of them are in intensive therapy, a 66-year-old from Lushnja and a 61-year-old from Fier and a 50-year-old from Tirana. One of them appears to be in a heavier position. The rest of the flats in the ward are stable.
At the Institute of Public Health, 17 people from health staff who have had contact with the patient identified with COVID-19 at the “hospital have been tested so far. Chiefs Rudoku”, currently being treated at the Infective Hospital, where two have resulted positive.
