120 thousand private sector workers at risk for salaries, Government to increase payment from 170 to 289 euros

This month, some 120 thousand workers are in danger of receiving salaries or halving.

So has Kosovo Economic Ode Chairman Berat Rukiqi announced today.

He has said it is the result of the closure of businesses to prevent the spread of coronary.

<x) Of the 240 thousand workers, there are 120 thousand workers who are out of their jobs, who will either receive a halved salary or not receive at all”, he added.

Rukiqi has said that compensation of the Government of Kosovo for private sector workers of 170 euros is small, he has demanded that it increase to 289 euros.
