Opposition leader Kadri Veselini has said it is disturbing that for the first time a Kosovo prime minister calls agreements with NATO in opposition to Kosovo's interests.
Here's his complete writing:
It is disturbing that for the first time, a Kosovo prime minister names agreements with NATO in opposition to Kosovo's interests.
During our liberation war, I myself witnessed the actions of this Alliance, led by the United States of America, along with us, in the interest of Kosovo, the liberation of our country and the return of hundreds of thousands of Kosovo citizens to their homes.
Our goal is NATO membership and not their departure from around Kosovo.
Today, Kosovo's sovereignty is not jeopardised by NATO and agreements with NATO, but by Serbia's aggression and threats.
NATO is a guarantee of Kosovo's sovereignty and integrity.
