The 63-year-old actor was seen holding hands with the sergeant before they both fell and made some cyskleca, broadcasting Periscopi.
While they were doing pumps, a bunch of sergeants were seen cheering.
Hanks has a strong relationship with the armed forces, dating back a few years with his role at Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan.
