Persistence is the character that “puts” on success, has shown a new study conducted at the West Point Military Academy in America.
This research has found that persistence is the character that has been crucial when it comes to successful conclusion of education no previous success in school, nor have physical ability been as strong as persistent indicators.
The team of scientists from the University of Pennsylvania, who worked on this research, says that the insistence on success is far more important than the IQ, because that character is helping people to still be determined and to move on their purpose, despite obstacles and failures.
Military psychologist Dr. Michael Metz explains that perseverance is an important character, because people who have this quality <x0... they're killing” without getting tired and scurrying toward their long-term goal, and that's exactly what helps them eventually to succeed.
By analyzing the data collected by 11,200 cadences during some decenynes, scientists have found that persistent people are those who do not give up on obstacles and failures and have had 54 percent greater chances of completing the original schooling.
Success in various tests, as well as physical ability, on the other hand, has not been indicator of the kadet's success.
Scientists point out that this is not just the case of the cadets, but perseverance is crucial to success whatever your goal is.
