FAZA 1: Attraction and Romance

That's the start when you still know someone. At this stage, you've been attracted to the person's appearance, the way he dresses and wears. Everything looks perfect, it's like a honeymoon and a fantasy, everybody shows themselves the best. Although first impressions at this stage may be incorrect, they affect the course of the relationship. Both of you try to dig a little deeper to find common interests and values.

This phase is usually a fun and exciting time when you find out more about each other and fall in love. You two focus on looking good at each other, ignoring flaws, avoiding conflict, spending a lot of time together and you can't stay away. It's like a drug, you're very dependent on partner/partner. This first phase could last somewhere from several months to about two years.

FAZA 2: Reality, or phase of “power struggle”

At this point, your brain has stopped producing those delicious chemicals of love. He or she crawls over gradually when you begin to notice your partner's flaws and all your differences or wake up one morning with a “love substitute”, wondering how I got here?

This phase often strikes you with the reality of how you two are incompatible, notice the faults of your partner or behavior that you simply dislike. You're mad at each other and argue all the time. Some of the anger may come from trivialities, such as minor differences between you. On average, couples in this phase spend about a year working on their differences in an effort to achieve some stability.

If you are able to communicate in wholesome ways and engage in working together, you will see positive progress and will be able to move to the next stage. But without strong communication, confidence and ability to work as a team, couples are unlikely to pass this phase. Sometimes, if you're already married at this stage, you can be stuck here for years.

FAZA 4: Stability

This phase is like a kind of rest after the troubled waters of disappointment at stage 3, the couple already have a history together. They've overcome and weathered the storm, they know they can solve the differences they've seen and <x0... killed each other”.

In the Stability phase, you have acknowledged the fact that you will never succeed in changing your partner and you have given up trying to do so. You're okay with your partner, that's different from you. Couples sometimes get bored at this stage, feel that the chase is over, lack feelings in the first phase, and may require some kind of excitement with someone else, causing separation. But if you succeed at this stage, which can be done by fuelling your relationship and finding new ways to keep the spark alive, you progress to the final stage.

FAZA 5: A strong commitment and bond

The phase of engagement has nothing to do with marriage, here, you completely succumb to the reality that you and your partner are human and that your relationship is lacking. At this stage, couples have a good understanding of their values, lifestyle, and partner's goals for the future. You are fully integrated in each other, you have open and honest conversations about children, finance, lifestyles, careers and everything else.
