Protest against Tome Gashi: He took over state affairs, Oda of Lawyers to expel him

From the organisation Youth Initiative for Human Rights, Black Pir said the act of lawyer Tome Gashi, against a beggar, has been the lowest gesture anyone can make.

According to her, these actions should never be repeated and that citizens will not allow such acts to remain on the map.

“We have gathered several citizens to express our indignation at an act that lawyer Tome Gashi has been doing more days, as you all know a video has come viral on networks and television that lawyer Tome Gashi has been kicking off the money of a person who has been looking for charity in the Nine Teresa Square, so we as the Youth Initiative for Human Rights and as part of civil society punishing the harsh action and act, we will always act on human rights and actions that will not be repeated, so we will not allow such acts of youth to remain in Pir1.

Pir said Kosovo citizens will always support unprotected persons who because of difficult economic conditions are forced to seek charity.

This protest was also joined by Egyptian Liberal Party MP Veton Berisha, who said he has remained shocked by the actions of lawyer Tome Gashi, all of that, according to him after Gashi knows human rights very well and such an act has distanced Gashi from his competencies and his mandate.

Berisha stressed that in this case Gashi has lost patience and has taken over state affairs.

I have come out today to support a protest which has been organised with the purpose of expressing dissatisfaction with the actions of the renowned lawyer Tome Gashi, I, in my own form, in the media, even in the status I have expressed my disappointment and I have not felt well with Mr. Gashi's actions for the fact that Mr Gashi is the known personality who knows justice of people's rights, the possibilities which belong to the individual, and which state, I think, Sir Gashi has emerged from his own competencies, from his mandate, we as citizens have only helped my country in fighting the negative phenomenon while the case that Gashi has lost its jobs in the state... . We also have Mr. Gashi left to fight these phenomena, but institutionally do not take the law and the state into our hands”, Berisha said.

In addition Berisha said, the evil of all this work is that Gashi does not regret his move.

The same is the opinion of citizen Hasan Blaku, who said he denounced Tome Gashi to the Oda of Lawyers for his move, and according to him this institution should exclude Tome Gashi.
