President Thaci leaves for US, meetings with US administration Pristina

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has traveled today to the United States of America, where he will meet senior US administration officials.
The United States of America has turned its attention to developments in Kosovo and the region, engaging in reaching the final peace agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as to pave the way for foreign investment and economic development.
Before leaving for the US, President Thaci said that “Kosovo is the luckiest that the United States of America preserves commitment to Kosovo, to the peace, stability and prosperity of Kosovo and the entire region”. President Trump's “Lidership, the support of Secretary Pompeii and the direct commitment of the Special Envoy, Ambassador Green, are encouragement to us”, said President Thaci.
We are blessed with our permanent friendship, with our special report to the United States of America”, President Thaci added.
President Thaci in Washington will also have presentations in two debates on developments in Kosovo and the region, one at the Brooklyn Institute and the other at Atlantic Council, as well as there will be meetings in think-tanks with influence in US foreign policy. President Thaci will talk about achieved success, priorities in Kosovo and challenges and opportunities on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration.
