More than 100 Greenpeace activists tried to deploy 500 solar panels in front of the BP office, blocking the entrances of the oil can company.
According to a statement by London Police, they were arrested for preventing traffic and causing anxiety and sent to a police station in central London.
Greenpeace spokesman Stefano Gelini said some activists were chained to oil barrels.
BP said Lynn, who visited the German staff today, said he was deeply concerned about the protests and understood their frustration and anger.
One of the protesters, Richard George, said BP was trying to block access to clean energy at the global level, broadcast Sky News.
