Currently these measures will be valid until March 6th, but the possibility for new measures will remain open, depending on the circumstances created by the coronary. The events scheduled for this period are not cancelled, but will take place without public presence.
The Government's proposal concerns larger public gatherings which are planned in this period, as well as the Strumica carnival, the carnival in Prilep and similar ones.
The government recommends the organisers of sports events and contests in the period until March 6th to take place without public presence. The same government recommendation applies to all other entertainment and cultural and artistic manifestations.
The government recommends to all organisers of other public events that their decisions bring on the basis of consultations with the Commission on infectious diseases. The government imposes the Ministry of Internal Affairs until next session to deliver information on how the measures the Crisis Staff has determined are being implemented.
Health Minister Venko Filipce has informed that a traveler, who from Italy has returned to Strumica on February 22nd, has reported having a high fever. He has stressed that the necessary material for analysis has been received and the results of the coronary test are expected during the day.
In the infectious clinic in Skopje, a person diagnosed with coronavirus is already being treated, while 12 people are in solitary confinement because of contacts they have had with persons affected by coronarys. /Alsat/
