Limaj: As every other day brings to memory the sacrifice of people in this country

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has congratulated Kosovo citizens on the 12th anniversary of Independence.

Limaj has said Kosovo's independence marks the biggest achievement in our state's history. “The declaration of Independence 12 years ago is the crowning of the efforts of the Albanian people, who culminated in the holy war of the Kosovo Liberation Army, at the helm with the legendary commander, Adem Jashar and thousands of other martyrs”, has written, among other things, Limaj on Facebook.

The head of the Initiative has said that today, like any other day, we bring to our memory the defeat and sacrifice of people in this country who for decades and centuries have committed themselves to realize our eternal dream. The former deputy prime minister of Kosovo has also expressed gratitude to international friends who have helped our country on any site of statehood.

Dear citizens of the Republic of Kosovo today filled 12 years with the Kosovo Declaration of Independence, which marks the greatest achievement in the history of our state. The declaration of Independence 12 years ago is the crowning of the efforts of the Albanian people, who culminated in the holy war of the Kosovo Liberation Army, led by the legendary commander, Adem Jashar and thousands of other martyrs. We, like any other day, bring to our memory the labor and sacrifice of people in this country who for decades have committed themselves to realize our eternal dream.
