Kosovo police have come up with clarification concerning the borrowing of Albania's State Police tear gas last year, saying that this has been undertaken in accordance with co-operation agreements between the two police institutions and the consent of two competent ministries.
In advance, positive thoughts have been taken from the Legal Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RKS and the Kosovo Police, including the consent given by the tear gas producer.
Given the previous legal procedures, the co-operation agreement drafted on the legal basis, consent and authorisation of competent ministries, company consent and positive opinion of legal offices has been made to lend tear gas.
On the basis of inter-institutional co-operation, with neighbouring states in this case not only with Albania, Kosovo Police exchange police personnel, patrols and joint training, as well as logistical equipment as needed.
