The Association for Protection of the Rights of Kosovo Footballrs has reacted on the official page to the case of football player Ilija Ivik, who received threats in Belgrade and began the depression measures against his family only after he chose to represent Kosovo.
Through a USMDFK letter, he considers reactions by Serbs unreasonable, since it is each footballer's right to choose which national team he wants to play for.
“On how the Association reacted sharply to the involvement of politics in sports and we stand up for Serbian national player Ilija Ivic. We see the reactions and threats by Serbian media and official towards him and his family unreasonable. It is the right of each footballer to choose which team within the Kosovo championship, as well as which representative wants to represent”, It's a statement.
We remember Ilija's father and his mother left work in the Gracanica municipality, only that he chose Kosovo to present him as a state.
