iPhone XR was the most sold phone on the global market for 2019

This time, however, Apple produced a number of best sold phones for this year, according to Counterpont Research Research yet takes first place in only a few regions.

Globally, the iPhone XR was the best-selling phone in 2019, kidnapping 3% of smartphone sales.
In second place was iPhone 11, which seized 2.1% of sales.

This in itself is quite impressive, especially after the phone was launched only in September, and that was only about four months of sale in 2019.

Apple managed to grab a few more positions on the list of the top 10.

iPhone 8, in sixth place, received 1.2% of sales, while iPhone 11 pro Max, iPhone 7 and iPhone X S Max entered eighth, ninth and tenth, respectively.

Of course, Apple wasn't the only smartphone producer on the list.

Samsung also showed success, with Samsung Galaxy A50 coming to third place with 1.8%, and Galaxy A10 comes to fourth place with 1.7%.

A visible drop from the list of top 10 came for Huawei, who is the second largest telephone producer in the world.

This is likely about the fact that the company has concentrated its efforts in China following the ban on American trade, which resulted in the company giving up Google apps and services.
