Former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has been addressed with an open letter to current Prime Minister Albin Kurti, through which he begs him not to lift the 100 per cent tax on Serbia.
Haradinaj, addressing Kurti, has said that despite political differences, both have sacrificed for the country and that, for the sake of this sacrifice, it must not be taxed.
If we're not the ones who own ourselves, he doesn't even like us, he wrote Haradinaj in his letter to Kurti.
The former prime minister has said that at this stage, Kosovo cannot have reciprocity with Serbia, without recognition.

Open letter to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti
Dear Albin,
A few days ago I called to congratulate the Prime Minister. I'm writing you about something else today. Along with the people of Kosovo, you have sacrificed much. You've fallen in prisons and challenges but you've been Stoically at what you believe. Activists of the Unprecedented Self - determination Movement have been loyal to your cause. We may disagree on many things of daily politics, but the sacrifice I have always known.
Because of this sacrifice, I want you personally not to take the tax away from Serbia.
Albin, do not allow the profit market of over 400 million euros for Serbia, which has beaten and tortured you. The state, which with the money of the people of Kosovo, bought weapons in Russia. Please, don't float this sovereign decision with vague terms like “reciprocity”.
Don't take Albin tax. Don't back down for some temporary points you can get from the international community. A friend who is a true friend loves and helps you with praise and criticism. If we're not the best of ourselves, we're not the ones who like us.
Reconsit Alb's decision. We can continue to disagree. For these sovereign differences, the verdict has been issued on October 6th, but it is a topic greater than a handful of votes.
Albin, we've both gone through rough streets. We race and continue the political race. We have not reached where we are like Kosovo with temporary tact, but with sacrifice and stability. We should be together until mutual recognition and not be for a “reciprocity” without recognition.
