The position of Ambassador Richard Green is already known, who has become the main character in Kosovo dialogue- Serbia after being delegated by US President Donald Trump in the role of special envoy. Meanwhile, Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu plans a visit to the country's north after the government promised to lift the tax and establish full trade, economic and political reciprocity towards Serbia.
But part of her statement has made a big impression, writes Periscope.
Haxhiu has strangely argued Kosovo Serbs who had decided to reject the 100% tax on goods imported from Serbia more than a year ago by insulating a humanitarian crisis and threatening to boycott institutions.
My main concern is the dependence those institutions have from Belgrade, and you know that when the tariff is set they have boycotted or warned that they will release jobs or hold a strike if they continue to fare” 50 said Mrs. Haxhiu.
I believe that institutions there should not depend on Belgrade, they are the justice institutions that need to work in the service of citizens. I'm going to take a report on what the situation is like, do the institutions cooperate with the relevant councils here and then plan the agenda”. He added further.
In fact, no Albanian political party in Kosovo believes institutions in the north should depend on Belgrade, but this has happened however.
It is not known why Mrs. Haxhiu has decided to voice objections from the loyal Serbs to Belgrade for the tax.
It is also not known how the Serb community will expect the news of the establishment of full reciprocity by the Kurti Government. /Periscope
