The German manufacturer's hope reached 458,55 consumers across Europe last year.
Golf has maintained its first position in spite of a 9 - percent decrease in sales compared to 2018, and a shift in generations since the presentation of a new model in October, the eighth on the line since 1974, when this car first entered the market.
In second place is a Volkswagen model, Polo, with 330,922 units transported, with a decline of 12.8 percent year-on-year, while the third Renault Clio with 302,994 vehicles sold also suffered a 17.4 percent year-on-year decline.
In fourth place is Wolfgang SUV Tiguan, and the fifth is Skoda Octavia, the Kosovo Press broadcast.
