Gashi, in an interview in Info Magazine of Kosovo, analysed Green's empowerment with this position in relation to Kosovo.
I'm surprised that Green will continue to hold all three positions of American Ambassador to Germany, Trump's emissary for the Kosovo dialogue- Serbia and now also head of National Intelligence”.
“Grenelli is promoted and is now even closer to Trump, part of Trump's cabinet. If Kosovo is mentioned at their meetings once a week or once in two weeks, it will now be mentioned much more frequently. I think this trend for a quick deal would continue”.
Green's establishment is good news for Kosovo for those agreements that will soon be implemented, but bad news for those agreements that will not soon implement”.
Gashi also spoke of reactions to the US regarding the appointment of Grenelli.
He claimed that after the release of the news, doubts about Greene's professionalism were noticed, as he lacks the background of national intelligence to exercise this task.
Gashi also stressed that Trump has decided that the appointment will be made as head of office, as to appoint the Director of National Intelligence must take the majority to the Senate, which he said he doubts would reach Grenelli.
