FBI announces China the biggest threat in the United States

The FBI declared China on Thursday the greatest threat to law enforcement forces in the United States. He added that the agency's 56 regional offices have opened about 1,000 investigations concerning China's efforts to steal technology.
FBI counterintelligence chief John Bronna said the agency has arrested 24 people in 2019 over cases involving China, and 19 other people have been arrested during this year.
During a conference in Washington, DC at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Mr Brown said the FBI believed “that no country poses a greater threat than communist China”. Mr. Wray said the threat had to be faced with actions by the entire American government.
“The FBI is conducting a thousand investigations involving the remaining attempts to steal American technology in almost every industry sector of”, he said.
Mr. Wray added that China is aggressively exploiting the US academic opening to steal technology, using “campus collaborators” and creating “institute on American campus”.
National Counterintelligence Director and the Security Centre William Evanina said at the conference that China had special priority in stealing American aircraft technology and electric vehicles.
