Admittedly, the quiet night for Mess is more events than an ordiner football player, but clearly it was a presentation that will not be remembered in the League Champions, the Periscope broadcast.
The silver legend came after marking four goals in Barca's 5-0 win against Eibari.
However, there were no such dramas against Naples, until goals by Dries Mertens and Antoine Grieezmann gave him the final epilogue, 1-1, the match.
It was not a terrible appearance from Mess, but it has not stopped rival fans in Titter from making fun of him.
