“will appoint an ambassador to Germany”, Trump told reporters at the White House before leaving for a trip to India, Reuters reports, broadcast Koha.net.
Compared to being ambassador to Germany, Grenelli was long ago appointed by the US special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia talks.
A senior US administration official had told Reuters during the past week that Yerenelli could remain ambassador, despite having been appointed task manager of the intelligence director, having taken over the supervision of the American intelligence community, comprised of seventeen agencies.
It is unclear how long Green will serve as U.S. intelligence chief. Trump has declared Sunday that he has five candidates in mind for this position, one of whom would become permanent director.
In a less distant future, we'll let the names of these” candidates know, Trump said.
That leaves the possibility that Mr. Green in a very close future to be only the White House's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, in order to deal more intensively with it.
