As if the loss of sports to a global pandemic was not enough when recovery steps were finally achieved, there were many footballers who broke the pandemic regulation for personal reasons, some of which had many consequences. Names like Jack Wilshere, Phil Foden, Mason Greenwood, Tammy Abraham, Ben Cillell and Jadon Sancho damaged their reputations, but England's football match against Barbarians was canceled causing 1 million damage because of the breach of protocol by the Barabarian players, including the former captain of England, Chris Robshae.
Kobe Briant's Death

It wasn't even a month since we entered 2020, when Kobe Bryant's basketball legend died tragicly after a helicopter crash. Five-fold champion of The NBA and twice the Olympic medalist died along with 13-year-old daughter Gianna in the California incident. Gianna was an enthusiastic basketball player, often seen alongside her father at the match and was widely expected in women's basketball. In total, nine people including the pilot died in the crash.

Djokovic was already under great pressure from criticism after organising the current tour of the Balkans, where he tested positive with Covid-19 players, trainers, including him himself, but the worst came to the US Open, where he was disqualified after accidentally hitting a woman outside technical lines, as he hit the ball by nervousness in the match against Pablo Carreno Busta.
The suspension of Christian Coleman

In October, the world champion in 100 meters, Christian Coleman, was suspended from competition until May 2022 because he broke the anti-doping regulation. The 24-year-old American, who won gold in Doha 2019, was not charged with using suspended substances, but was found guilty of lack of two tests and failures in reporting in 2019.
